Starting to Celebrate the Season at Disney Parks

It's almost Christmas time and we're starting to celebrate the season at the Disney Parks.

Are you ready for the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade 2009?

Since 1983, every christmas day, Disney celebrates the season with a broadcast tv show started at CBS (The Walt Disney World Very Merry Christmas Parade) and changed to ABC Networks in 1996 with the new name.

The video shows the Highlights for the 2008 Christmas Day Parade:

* Miley Cyrus performing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town"

* Corbin Bleu singing for the first time the awarded song "Celebrate You"

* The cast of Broadway's Mary Poppings performing  throughout Main Street USA the incredible "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious".

Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa are the hosts of the show with Ryan Seacrest, best known as the host of  American Idol, doing street appearances with the guests.

It's taped at the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland and sometimes they include segments featuring other Disney Parks around the globe.

Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, David Archuleta, Sarah Brightman, Jose Feliciano, David Cook, Vanessa Williams, The Imagination Movers and Corbin Bleu.

Christmas Day 2009 News

Selena Gomez, Stevie Wonder and Anika Noni Rose has already filmed Performances for the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade at Disneyland.

2009 dates for the Magic Kingdom are: Dec. 3, 4 and 5.
